The Life Energy Audit
Map the activities, relationships, and obligations that change the quality of your energy—not merely its quantity.

Step 1 · Reconstruct seven days
Review the last week. List significant activities, conversations, and periods of work. Use evidence from your calendar rather than memory alone.
Step 2 · Mark the after-effect
For each item, note whether you felt expanded, neutral, or diminished afterward. Distinguish satisfying fatigue from depletion.
Step 3 · Look for patterns
Which activities made time feel well used? Which required recovery disproportionate to their value? Which people made you more candid?
Step 4 · Make one adjustment
Increase one expanding activity by 10 percent. Reduce, redesign, or renegotiate one diminishing obligation. Observe for two weeks.
